Summer Camp

Mt. Gilead Camp is a non-denominational Christian summer camp for girls ages 6-17. There are 5 weekly summer sessions. Girls may stay for any number of sessions. Mt. Gilead offers an atmosphere of relaxed fun & fellowship and the opportunity to experience God right in the middle of his creation, without the distractions of technology and everyday life.

Guest Retreats

Mt. Gilead’s facilities are available for group rentals during the months of August to June. Our 175 acre wooded property creates the perfect venue for retreats and conferences. Mt. Gilead offers winterized buildings, meeting spaces, food service and guided team building activities such as: High & Low Ropes Courses, Archery, Riflery and Boating.

Events

Mt. Gilead hosts several annual events which are open to all. Join in the annual Mom/Daughter or Dad/Daughter Retreats held at camp or test your adventurous side on one of our Mom/Daughter or Dad/Daughter canoe trips down the Delaware River. Attend a fundraiser such as the Cruise For Camp Benefit Ride or one of our 5K Runs.

The Best Summer Ever!

Nestled in the heart of the Pennsylvania Poconos, Mt. Gilead has provided an exceptional Christian girls’ summer camp program for more than 60 years. Campers play, learn, and grow while participating in archery, swimming, riflery, drama, high ropes, horsemanship, and canoeing – to name just a few! In a warm and friendly atmosphere, staff lead engaging activities that challenge and encourage campers to grow. Meals are served family-style, campfires, fun camp traditions, off-the-wall silly songs, games, group activities and sports all enhance the experiences of making new friends and enjoying fellowship with peers and counselors. Here girls grow and mature daily, all while making friends and memories that will last a lifetime!
